Natural COR-TEN is a type of steel easily recognizable by its features such as: mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion. When exposed to atmospheric agents, the surface creates a rust-like patina which has the aim of stopping corrosion by preventing the deterioration of the steel itself. TrackDesign distributes this material in an advanced oxidation state for outdoor use. Oxidation stabilization takes place after 10-16 months and, during this period, oxidation particles may be released which can pigment clearer and permeable surfaces.

To clean the COR-TEN surface we suggest to simply dust of the surface without using any type of detergent nor water.
